I did the picture a while ago but I couldn't think of anything to write into it!

I wanted to practise drawing people, and was feeling a bit unoriginal so a kind of big-headed self-portrait was the result. I tried to make it as true to myself as possible... yup, I'm a geek - always have been, always will be! I heavily practised my computer colouring skills (or lack of such) on this too, and it took me an entire day which is what all my pictures seem to do these days.

If I ever come up with something better to write in there, I'll amend it! Pure and simple for now though.

Hey, sometimes simple is really good! :shrug: That's a great picture, anyway. I need to practice drawing people, too ;P though I will probably never get them to look that good; animals have always been easier for me. Sometimes I even have to kinda cheat and draw half-human half-animal creatures like fauns, just because the animal half makes it so I don't have to draw human legs and feet. lol

Yay, I'm glad you like the pic! ^-^

I had a commission a while ago where I drew highly detailed realistic people, so I did a TONNE of research into that and I've really improved since then. I got interested in manga too so I bought and borrowed a couple of books on the subject, and I've been working on drawing people in a stylised way that looks half decent. ;p

Hehehe that sounds like a neat idea about the fauns though :D

Hey Kunzai, since you decided to comment on my own deviant ID (quite a positive comment at that too, thank you) I decided to check out yours, call it a "return" if you would.

I think this is fantastic honestly, I love the colouring and I love the actual drawing itself, the style is great, reminds me of the very old school Penny-Arcade by Mike Krahulik AKA "Gabe".

I love the "g33k" thing too, the leet (or, "1337" =P ) thing is cool, reminds me of my own user name lol =P

and wow, over two million views are you serious? That's amazing, lol.

Anyway, this is awesome. The description is super cool too. =)
