Artist's Comments
I've been putting off and putting off the daunting task of animating the graphic chat avatars, but finally I figured if I animate each avatar first the design will evolve from there, so the last two days saw me using my graphics tablet once more.
This is a video referenced wolf walking cycle I've been working on all day. I've sketched in the body but you can see I drew the head once and pasted it onto each frame. I'm kind of a perfectionist... I've been determined to get realistic movement for this. There's still plenty wrong with it and my next step is to draw over it all neater, and smooth out the lines. The head and tail will have a different motion too when I'm done. And the near back leg.. and the near foreleg. And the line of the neck won't be so jelly-like. So, there's lots to do but I'm definately getting somewhere. |
