Click DOWNLOAD to view *took me a lil while to figure that out xD*

I added a couple betweeny frames naow, hopefully head movement is looking smooth-yet-jerky as intended? I can't add more without messing up the timing so it better do. =]
The tail is weird so I'm gonna fix that now.

So anyway it's Kunzai, and she's been chased by some evil dudes. Now she's standing on the edge of a cliff... dun dun DUNN!

I think I put the drawings together in Flash, but it is also easy to do in Photoshop. =]

Hmm I've had a quick look at what comes with Photoshop Elements, I think you might be able to. You create each image for the animation on a separate layer, then use "Save for web" and optimise to GIF format. Apparently there's an "Animate" option you can use then - should be able to preview the animation, edit the speed and save it that way!

I didn't use a graphics tablet for most of my animations in my gallery, but a lot of animators are taking advantage of the convenience of animating this way so I think it's a great way for you to get started. Best of luck! =]

I scanned them into the computer - to save time I set up the scan settings for the first image, then just replaced the papers for each frame. :)

I used to use Jasc Animation Shop when it came with Paint Shop Pro but it's a bit harder to get a hold of now. There's a few great free programs available to put animations together in, you could try Pencil: [link]

You know when you scan a drawing, you probably have to set the size and place of the area you want to scan which you fit around your drawing's borders. I'm sorry it's a little difficult to explain, so I'll split it into steps this way:

1. Draw your pictures so that the corners of the paper lines up correctly in each one
2. Place the first drawing in the scanner with the corner pressed lightly against the corner of the scanned area
3. Preview your scan and adjust the border of the scanned area to fit your picture, etc, then scan
4. Replace with the next drawing, placing the paper in the same place
5. Now there's no need to preview, just scan and replace with the next drawing until finished.

Hope that makes more sense. :)

Thank you for the steps i haven't used the scanner in the Mac lab in a while i also wanted to know if you could import the pictures into Adobe Flash or will you have to find another program.Since its not my computer and is the school's all we have is Photoshop,InDesign,Dreamweaver,Illustrator, and Flash I am the only person who knows how to use it and i'm kinda experimenting with ways to animate.

Oh well if you can use Flash then that's perfect, it's what I used most recently to put animations together. :D When you scan the drawings into any program, just save them and you should easily be able to import into Flash. Sorry I don't know the exact mechanics right now, but I'm sure you'll get it moving in no time :)
